Reasons for Loadshedding
Some things, such as maintenance tasks, equipment malfunctions, and fuel shortages, can result in load-shedding. Temporary power outages may be necessary for planned grid improvements or maintenance, as well as unanticipated issues like overloading or transformer failures. Weather-related events like storms or floods can damage transmission lines, and load shedding may occur when seasonal demand spikes exceed the power supply. Planned outages can also happen to balance the grid when power generation is inadequate or when fuel supply interruptions affect thermal power plants.
Conclusion:
Due to maintenance, PESCO has published a load-shedding schedule for certain Peshawar locations.PESCO will affect several areas, including Chairman Daftar, Beri Bagh, Sikandar Pura, and Badbair, with planned power outages from November 16 to 30. The outages aim to maintain grid stability and prevent unforeseen interruptions. Customers should plan accordingly and check the schedule for specific times and locations impacted.
