How to check GEPCO bill online

To check your GEPCO bill you will need this 14-digit reference number. You can view, download, and print your Gepco duplicate bill, by entering the 14-digit reference number. Following are the 4 steps on how it works:

Step 1: Find the 14-digit reference number.

You can find the 14-digit reference number on your old Gepco bill. it’s usually at the top left or below the Customer ID in the top right corner.

Step 2: Enter a 14-digit reference number.

Enter your 14-digit ref—number in the bill-checking section above.

Step 3: Click on the Check Bill.

After entering your reference number simply click on the Generate Bill button. The system will then process your request to generate the latest GEPCO bill if it’s available. If not, it’ll show your last bill.

Step 4: Get your copy of the GEPCO Duplicate bill.

If you want to keep a copy, you can either print it or save it as a PDF on your computer or phone.

What is GEPCO?

    GEPCO stands for (Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited) is a public limited company that provides Electricity in Gujranwala and its surrounding areas in South Punjab, Pakistan.

GEPCO provides electricity to over 3.7 million people in six areas in South Punjab. It started in 1998 as a successor of the former Area Electricity Board. GEPCO is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the power transmission and distribution network in its area of jurisdiction.

GEPCO serves a wide variety of customers, such as residential, businesses, factories, and farms. It gets electricity from different places like the National Transmission and Dispatch Company, independent power producers.

If you purchased a new property where the GEPCO connection is already registered with the previous owner and want to change the name on the bill, you will have to follow the same procedure as the new connection. You can visit the nearest office and apply for the name change or correction.

FPA:

FPA stands for Fuel Price Adjustment. The FPA price in the gepco bill belongs to the fuel pricing of rental power companies that generate electricity from Crude Oil etc. You can see this amount in your bill when there is fuel price fluctuation.

TR Surcharge:

T.R. stands for Tariff Rationalization Surcharge. This is the NEPRA and GOP tariff difference. If the difference is positive, GOP will pay it as a “Subsidy”. However, in case of a negative difference, the Distribution Company will pay GOP as an “Inter DISCO Tariff Rationalization Surcharge ( IDTR SUR )”.

FC Surcharge:

FC means Financing Cost. The officials decided to charge 43 paise per unit as FC Surcharge, to secure the collection of debt servicing of the Power Holding Private Limited.

Deferred Amount:

This is the bill amount you can choose to pay in the same month, or later. There are no late payment charges on deferred bills, and your next bills may include this amount in installments or in full.

QTR Tariff Adj / DMC

This is the quarterly tariff adjustment amount.
